Stone built former coaching inn dating from 1796 that features an L-shaped split-level bar. Always has guests from micros (eight beers in total) plus up to seven traditional ciders and perries and a good range of European bottled beers. Two beer festivals each year at Easter and in September are held on the secluded patio that features a stone mounting block dating back to the pub's coaching inn days. Friday night "Pie Night", Pie & Pint Special from 5-7. Sunday lunch carvery style. TV and jukebox. Pump clips and beer memorabilia adorn the walls.
